Ashton celebrated his first Christmas! On Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Marge's house then came home and each opened one present. Ashton got a Get Up and Bounce Tigger. Christmas morning we woke up to find that Santa had visited! Ashton was apparently a good boy this year because he got lots of neat stuff! Santa brought him an excersaucer and a big Grumpy Bear Care Bear. In his stocking Santa left some books, a Dallas Cowboys football and a giggling puppy toy. Mom and Dad also got Ashton a stuffed Kitty and a tummy time gym. Mom got a digital camera so she can keep Ashton's webpage updated! After we opened presents we went back to Grandma Marge's for more presents! Ashton got a Bedtime Bear Care Bear from Helen and Ellen and a bouncing puppy from Grandpa Ron and Marcy. Grandma Marge and Pa got him a Grumpy Bear and video, a toy for his carseat and a stuffed Eeyore. Later Aunt Janice and Uncle Darrell brought him a stuffed Tigger and book. Ashton had lots of fun at Christmas!

We had to take Ashton to the doctor yesterday. He had a rash and was cranky so Grandma called the doctor and we got him in. By the time we got to the doctor's office the rash was gone and Ashton was smiling and gurgling like nothing was wrong. The doctor said it was probably nothing serious but it could be fifth disease which is really just a rash that kids get sometimes. He said if the rash didn't come back within 24 hours it probably isn't fifth disease. Ashton seems to be feeling much better though so hopefully he won't be sick on his first Christmas.

Ashton has been rolling from his back to his tummy since Thanksgiving. He doesn't like to be on his tummy and hasn't quite mastered rolling from his tummy to his back so he gets mad when he gets stuck on his tummy. His favorite activites now are playing in his Bouncing Buggy excersaucer at Grandma's house, laughing, and looking at the Christmas tree. He has started "talking" a lot and likes to hear himself make noise.
