  Ashton took two steps today! We went to Grandma's house today and while we were there Ashton was standing up and Grandma was holding onto his hands and he tried to take off walking like he loves to do. Well, Grandma was sitting down and she had to let go of his hands and he kept on walking and took two steps then realized she wasn't holding onto him and fell on his butt. We tried to get him to do it again but of course Mr. Stubborn wouldn't do it.

  Ashton can stand by himself!! He only stands for about 30 seconds at a time but most of the time he doesn't fall down, he sits down so he can crawl so I think he could stand longer if he wanted to.

  Ashton has a new pool. We set it up yesterday and he took a little dip in it while it was filling. Even though the water was cold he loved it!

  Ashton has a top tooth!!! One finally popped through after a week of him being cranky. The other one looks like it's not far behind.

  Last week I bought Ashton a Baby Safe Feeder. It's basically a little mesh bag attached to a round handle. I can put foods like fruit and vegetables in it and Ashton can mush them up and eat them without choking. So far he's had pears and watermelon in it and loved both of them!

  We have been trying to get Ashton used to sleeping in his crib at night. Most nights he spends at least half the night in his crib before he wakes up and then comes to bed with mom after he eats. He still isn't back to sleeping through the night though.
